My Change of Plans
I originally had another post planned for today, however because of what was going on in Barcelona, I felt called to reorient and talk about increasing our own awareness when it comes to marketing. It’s not something at the level of what’s going on in Barcelona, but my intention is that it’s something more personal and related to what we can do that will have positive down flow effects.
I strongly know that if we were all to focus on increasing our awareness and raising our awareness, things would be very different in the world, our focus could be positively changed.
Considering the Down Flow Effects of Our Actions
When we create anything, through thought, word, or action, there are down flow effects of what we’ve created. It’s time to begin really thinking about that and what those things are.
A simple example in marketing is looking at what we’re leading with. My personal experience with this was from working with people, realising that many people did not see that what they put out there had an effect on the kinds of people they were attracting. Or more accurately, the attitude and orientation of the people they were attracting.
When someone decides to lead with lifestyle, directly (literally talking about “this is the life you could be living”) or indirectly (“sharing personal stories” through pictures on social media), and talks about the business that enabled them to achieve this lifestyle, what do you think it is selling? It is selling a “Get Rich Quick” scheme, even if that’s not what the product or service is really about.
When someone decides to lead with all the wonderful fairy tale experiences in a super perfect relationship, what do you think it is selling? It is selling “Get this program and I will get you a relationship.”
Higher Accountability and Responsibility
The truth is nothing outside of us can really create in our experience, and something like a lifestyle or a relationship may be vibrationally very far apart from what someone is experiencing. Making these claims is first of all having the client approach the product or service in a way that encourages lack of self-responsibility around personal vibration, then also the idea that “money can buy happiness” – or in this case, paying money to a business and investing in a product or service can relieve someone of their problems. Which is not true.
We must approach any product or service we choose to invest in with complete, full, and total self responsibility to get the benefits from it. Otherwise, it’s a temporary fix or a temporary high at best. And you create karmic debts, energetically speaking, when you do this.
We’re really reaching the point where it’s no longer worth it to do it in this way, and a new way of connecting with people to sell products and services is emerging, and will be what truly works.
It’s a call for greater self-awareness in what you’re leading with in marketing, and coming from an aligned space. The way to do this is first to define clearly your Core Vision before anything else, but also consistently create marketing from that space.
Let’s hold ourselves to a higher personal responsibility and accountability, clearing the imbalances and allowing for a higher consciousness to come through, starting with the marketing we create. Continue to align to your Core Vision and Marketing Essence. Continue to refine it as it evolves. Be committed to that energy, and we’ll eventually create the change we wish to see in the world.
